AliExpress Dropshipping Center: How to Use It in 2026

The AliExpress Dropshipping Center is AliExpress's free research portal for dropshippers. It lives at ds.aliexpress.com, it still works in 2026 (the page now brands itself "DS Center"), and you log in with a normal AliExpress account. Inside you get bestseller lists, a fast-delivery product feed, a product analysis tool, a request-for-quote form for sourcing, and links to AliExpress's dropshipping API.

It's useful for one job: shortlisting AliExpress products and suppliers. It won't tell you whether those products sell in your market, and the "sales" data is a relative index, not an order count. Below is how the center works today, how to use each tool, where it falls short, and what to pair it with.

What is the AliExpress Dropshipping Center?

AliExpress built the Dropshipping Center for sellers who list AliExpress products on their own store and order one unit at a time per customer. Regular AliExpress is designed for shoppers. The DS Center reorganises the same catalogue around reseller questions: what's selling, how fast it ships, and which suppliers are reliable.

When we checked it in October 2026, the top menu had five sections:

  • Find Products to Sell: the home feed, with a search bar, category shortcuts, "Winning Products" (recent bestsellers), "Fast Delivery" and "Recommend for You".
  • Product Analysis: paste a product link to see trend, price and logistics data for that listing.
  • RFQ for product sourcing: a request-for-quote form for better prices or custom packaging.
  • DropshippingAPI: a link to AliExpress's developer program, used by apps that automate orders.
  • Financial services: offers tied to your account. These vary by region and we wouldn't base any decision on them.

There's also a banner pointing to a sourcing email (ds-sourcing@aliexpress.com) for sellers who want AliExpress to find a product for them.

Has the AliExpress Dropshipping Center changed in 2026?

The URL and the core tools are the same, but a few things have shifted, and some older guides are out of date.

  • Naming: the page header says "DS Center" rather than the full name. Same tool.
  • No special application: older articles say you needed to place a number of orders before AliExpress "invited" you. Today you sign in with any AliExpress account and accept the terms. Some accounts still don't see it in the account menu, but the direct link works.
  • Product Analysis is less reliable than it was. Several 2026 reviews, including a May 2026 test by DoDropshipping, report that the analysis page sometimes only returns similar products instead of the full charts. If it does that for you, it isn't something wrong with your account.
  • More emphasis on local warehouses. The "Fast Delivery" feed and ship-from filters push products held in US and European warehouses, which matches AliExpress's wider push into local fulfilment.

How to access the AliExpress Dropshipping Center

  1. Create or sign in to an AliExpress account. A personal account works; there's no separate business sign-up.
  2. Go to ds.aliexpress.com. If you're logged out, you'll see a "Sign in to enjoy exclusive dropshipping prices" prompt.
  3. Accept the dropshipping terms if asked. Access normally activates straight away.
  4. Set your ship-to country and currency in the top-right corner. Prices, shipping times and the products shown all change with it, so pick the country your customers are in, not where you live.
  5. Bookmark the page. AliExpress moves the link around in its account menu.

If the page loops back to sign-in or shows "something went wrong", try a different browser, clear cookies, or turn off a VPN. It's a known quirk of the portal, not a ban.

Finding products with "Find Products to Sell"

The home feed is where most people start. Use it like this:

Pick a category, then filter hard

Click into a category (Home & Garden, Beauty & Health, Toys & Hobbies, and so on) and sort by sales volume. Then filter by ship-from location and price range. Results show units sold and, on some listings, a short-term growth figure. AliExpress tags products as "Hot" (high, stable order volume) or "Growth" (orders climbing recently).

Growth products are more interesting than Hot ones. A Hot product with 50,000 orders is usually already being run by hundreds of stores. A Growth product with 800 orders that doubled last week might be early.

Use image search for products you've seen elsewhere

Saw a product in a TikTok ad? Screenshot it and use the image search to find matching listings. You'll often find the same item from six or seven suppliers at very different prices and shipping speeds. Our guide to finding viral TikTok and Facebook ads covers where to spot those products in the first place.

Check the Fast Delivery feed

The Fast Delivery section lists products that ship quickly to your selected country, often from local warehouses. Shipping speed affects conversion, refund rates and how long payment processors hold your money, so this feed is worth checking even if the products look less exciting.

Using AliExpress Product Analysis

Product Analysis is the most talked-about part of the AliExpress Dropshipping Center. Paste an AliExpress product URL, hit search, and (when it works) you get:

  • Sales trend: a chart of relative popularity over time, scaled 0 to 100. This is an index, not real unit sales. A score of 100 means "the most popular this product has been in the period", not "100 orders".
  • Price history: useful for spotting suppliers who raise prices once a product takes off, or who run a fake discount from an inflated "original" price.
  • Logistics data: shipping options and a reliability indicator for the listing.

The trend line is the part to read carefully. A product with a steady line for three months is a safer test than one that spiked last week, because spikes usually mean a viral ad that hundreds of stores are already copying. A falling line plus a recent price cut usually means the seller is clearing stock.

The limit is that it analyses one product at a time, on AliExpress only. It tells you how a listing is doing on AliExpress, which includes everyday shoppers buying for themselves. It says nothing about whether Shopify stores in your market are making money with it.

Vetting suppliers before you list anything

The DS Center surfaces products. You still need to check the seller behind each one. Reasonable thresholds to start with:

CheckWhere to find itWhat to look for
Store positive feedbackStore page header95% or higher
Store ageStore page, "Open since"At least 1 year
Product ratingListing page4.5 stars or higher with photo reviews
Reviews from your target countryReviews tab, filter by countryRecent reviews mentioning delivery time
Shipping methodListing page, delivery optionsAliExpress Choice, AliExpress Standard Shipping or local warehouse
Response timeMessage the sellerReply within 24 hours

Shortlist three to five suppliers for the same product, order samples from the top two, and compare packaging and actual delivery time. Paying 50 cents more per unit for a supplier who ships three days faster is almost always the right call. For a fuller checklist, see is AliExpress legit.

RFQ, sourcing requests and the dropshipping API

RFQ for product sourcing lets you post what you want (a product, a target price, custom packaging, volume) and receive quotes from suppliers. It's worth using once a product sells consistently, say 10 to 20 orders a day, because that's when suppliers take price requests seriously. Before that, you won't get much leverage.

DropshippingAPI links to the AliExpress Open Platform. You don't need to touch it yourself. Apps like AliDrop and DSers use this API to import products into Shopify, push orders to AliExpress automatically and sync tracking numbers back to your store. If you're placing AliExpress orders by hand once you have more than a handful a day, that's the point to switch to an app.

Dropshipping Center vs regular AliExpress

You can find the same products on the normal AliExpress site, so what does the DS Center actually add?

CostFreeFree

Ordering, buyer protection and disputes work the same either way. The DS Center doesn't have its own checkout, and orders you place still go through your normal AliExpress account.

Costs, disputes and refunds

The Dropshipping Center itself costs nothing. You pay the product price and shipping when you order, the same as any buyer, plus VAT or sales tax where AliExpress collects it at checkout (for example on UK orders up to £135).

Disputes go through the standard AliExpress process. Open a dispute from the order page if an item doesn't arrive, arrives damaged or doesn't match the listing, and attach photos or video from your customer. Two practical tips: ask customers for an unboxing photo as soon as they report a problem, and open the dispute before the buyer protection window closes. Your customer's refund rights with your store don't depend on whether AliExpress refunds you, so price a small refund allowance into every product. Our returns and refunds guide covers how to set that up.

Common mistakes sellers make with the Dropshipping Center

  • Picking straight from "Winning Products". Everyone sees that list. Use it for ideas, then look for an angle, a bundle or a better supplier.
  • Reading the trend index as orders. A score of 100 on a product with 300 lifetime orders is still a small product.
  • Leaving the ship-to country on the wrong market. If you sell to Australia but browse with the US selected, every price and delivery estimate you see is wrong.
  • Skipping samples. Photos on AliExpress are often borrowed from other listings. A $5 sample can save a $500 ad test.
  • Ignoring shipping cost. A $3.99 product with $6 shipping is a $9.99 product.

Limits of the AliExpress Dropshipping Center

It's a good free tool. It isn't a complete research stack. The main gaps:

  • It only sees AliExpress. A product can be a bestseller on AliExpress because people buy it cheaply for themselves. That doesn't mean anyone will pay £25 or $30 for it from your store.
  • "Sales" is an index. The analysis chart shows relative popularity, not orders or revenue.
  • No ad data. You can't see which products are being advertised on Facebook or TikTok, or how long those ads have run.
  • No competitor stores. It won't show you which Shopify stores sell the product, at what price, or how much they make.
  • Everyone sees the same lists. The "Winning Products" feed is shown to every dropshipper who opens the page. By the time a product appears there, it's often crowded.
  • Inconsistent tooling. The analysis page sometimes falls back to "similar products" with no charts.

Alternatives and tools to pair with the Dropshipping Center

Most experienced sellers use the DS Center for supplier work and something else for demand validation.

Dropshiptool for demand validation

Dropshiptool approaches it from the other side: it tracks real Shopify stores. The Product Database shows products that stores are actually selling, the Sales Tracker estimates daily revenue for competing stores, and the Ad Spy shows which Facebook and TikTok creatives they're running. Once you find a product on AliExpress, search for it in Dropshiptool to see whether anyone is making money with it outside AliExpress. If nobody is, that's useful information too.

Dropshiptool's Product Database filters, used to check demand outside AliExpress

You can try Dropshiptool and run the same product through both tools to see the difference for yourself.

AliDrop for importing and fulfilment

AliDrop is an AliExpress dropshipping app for Shopify. It imports products, automates ordering and syncs tracking. We reviewed it in detail in our AliDrop review.

Google Trends

Google Trends helps you check seasonality. A product that only gets searched in December is a Q4 test, not an evergreen store.

Other suppliers

If AliExpress shipping is too slow for your market, look at suppliers with local stock. Spocket focuses on US and EU suppliers, and we compare more options in our list of AliExpress alternatives. Selling in Britain? Read our guide to AliExpress dropshipping in the UK.

A simple workflow that uses both

  1. Spot a product idea in a TikTok ad, the Dropshiptool Product Portfolio or the DS Center's Growth tags.
  2. Check demand outside AliExpress: are Shopify stores selling it, and for how long? Our guide on validating a product before you sell it walks through the signals.
  3. Go back to the AliExpress Dropshipping Center, find three to five suppliers with image search, and run each through Product Analysis.
  4. Vet suppliers with the table above and order samples.
  5. Import the winner with AliDrop and launch a small ad test.
  6. Once it sells daily, post an RFQ for a better price or move to a faster supplier.

Here's a worked example of why the order matters. Say a pet hair remover shows a Growth tag and a rising trend in the DS Center. You check Dropshiptool and find four Shopify stores selling it at $24.99, one of them for about four months. That's demand, and a price point. If the AliExpress cost is $6.80 with $2.50 shipping, you're working with about $15.69 before ads and fees, which leaves room for a $10 to $12 cost per purchase. Without the second check, you'd only know it was popular on AliExpress.

Is the AliExpress Dropshipping Center worth using?

Yes, as a free sourcing tool. Use it to find suppliers, compare shipping options, check price history and request quotes. Don't use it as your only source of product ideas, because everyone else is looking at the same lists, and AliExpress popularity isn't the same as demand from your customers. Pair it with real store and ad data and it becomes much more useful.

AliExpress Dropshipping Center FAQs

Is the AliExpress Dropshipping Center still available in 2026?

Yes. The AliExpress Dropshipping Center is still live at ds.aliexpress.com and now labels itself "DS Center" in the page header. It keeps the same core sections: Find Products to Sell, Product Analysis, RFQ for product sourcing and a link to the dropshipping API. Some 2026 reviews report the analysis page occasionally returning only similar products.

Is the AliExpress Dropshipping Center free?

Yes. There is no fee to access or use the Dropshipping Center. You sign in with a regular AliExpress account and accept the dropshipping terms. You only pay for products and shipping when you place orders, plus any VAT or sales tax AliExpress collects at checkout for your customer's country.

Do I need to place orders before I can access it?

No. Older guides said AliExpress invited sellers after a certain number of orders, but today any AliExpress account can sign in at ds.aliexpress.com and accept the terms. If the link doesn't appear in your account menu, use the direct URL while logged in, or try another browser if the page shows an error.

Does Product Analysis show real sales numbers?

No. The sales chart in Product Analysis is a relative popularity index scaled from 0 to 100, not a count of orders or revenue. Use it to judge direction, such as a steady rise versus a short spike. For real demand signals, check order counts on the listing and what Shopify stores are selling with a tool like Dropshiptool.

How do I find reliable suppliers in the Dropshipping Center?

Shortlist three to five suppliers for the same product using search or image search, then check each store for 95% or higher positive feedback, at least a year of trading, 4.5-star product ratings with photo reviews, AliExpress Choice or local warehouse shipping, and replies to messages within 24 hours. Order samples from the top two before you list.

Is the Dropshipping Center available in every country?

It is available to most AliExpress accounts, but the products, prices and delivery times you see depend on the ship-to country selected in the top-right corner. Some accounts don't see the menu link and need to use ds.aliexpress.com directly. Features like financial services vary by region.
