Oberlo is gone. Shopify pulled the app from its App Store in May 2022 and shut it down in June 2022, pointing users to DSers as the migration path. If you're searching for Oberlo alternatives in 2026, you're either rebuilding an old store or starting fresh and keep seeing Oberlo mentioned in older tutorials. Either way, the good news is that the replacements are better than Oberlo ever was. Below are nine real options with current pricing checked in October 2026, a comparison table, and the steps to migrate without breaking your live products.
What happened to Oberlo?
Oberlo was a Shopify-owned app that let you import AliExpress products into a Shopify store and push orders back to AliExpress suppliers. For years it was the default way to start dropshipping, and a huge share of early Shopify dropshipping stores were built on it.
In May 2022 Shopify removed Oberlo from the App Store and announced it would be discontinued. The original cut-off was June 15, 2022, and several sources report access was extended to the end of that month for stragglers. Remaining subscriptions were cancelled and refunded. Shopify chose DSers as the recommended partner and offered a migration path that moved products and supplier links across.
Shopify never published a detailed reason. The practical reality was that Oberlo had fallen behind: it only connected to AliExpress, offered no local warehouse shipping, and its automation was basic compared with newer apps. So when people ask "can I still use Oberlo?" the answer is no. The app doesn't work, and old Oberlo links in your Shopify admin won't sync orders.
What to look for in an Oberlo replacement
Before picking one, decide what you actually need. Oberlo users mostly wanted three things, and the alternatives differ a lot on each:
- Supplier source. AliExpress only, or US and EU warehouses, or a mix? Shipping time is the biggest single driver of refunds and chargebacks.
- Order automation. Do you want to place each supplier order manually (fine at 5 orders a day) or have it done automatically with tracking synced back to Shopify?
- Price and stock sync. When a supplier raises a price or runs out, the app should update your store or warn you, so you don't sell at a loss.
Also check store limits, product limits per plan, and whether the app supports other platforms (WooCommerce, Wix, eBay) if you plan to expand.
The best Oberlo alternatives in 2026
1. DSers: the official Oberlo replacement
DSers was Shopify's chosen migration partner, and it's still the closest thing to Oberlo. It's built around AliExpress (and now other suppliers), with bulk ordering that lets you place dozens of AliExpress orders in a few clicks, supplier mapping to swap suppliers per variant, and automatic tracking sync.

The DSers pricing page lists a free Basic plan (3 stores, 3,000 products), Advanced at $19.90 a month, Pro at $49.90 a month and Enterprise at $499.90 a month, with a 14-day free trial on paid plans. Auto price and stock sync only kick in from Advanced. The free plan gives you manual pricing tools.
Best for: former Oberlo users who want the same AliExpress workflow, and anyone on a tight budget. The interface takes some getting used to, and some ex-Oberlo users on the Shopify Community forums complained about it right after the switch, but it does the job.
2. AliDrop
AliDrop is an AliExpress dropshipping app for Shopify (and a sister product of Dropshiptool). It covers one-click import from AliExpress, a curated catalog of premium products, a winning products section and a product analyzer on the higher plans, and it also offers US and EU suppliers and done-for-you store builds.

Plans run from Starter at $39 a month (50 unique products) through Professional at $59, Empire at $99 and Unicorn at $299, each with a 7-day trial for $1 at the time of writing. Yearly billing is discounted.
Best for: sellers who want AliExpress sourcing plus product research inside the same app. Read our AliDrop review for the full breakdown.
3. Spocket
Spocket focuses on suppliers based in the US and Europe, which is the opposite of Oberlo's AliExpress-only model. Faster shipping means fewer "where's my order" emails and a better shot at competing with Amazon-style delivery expectations. Spocket also offers branded invoicing, sample orders, and AliExpress products through its integration for sellers who want both.
According to Spocket's pricing page, plans are Starter at $39.99 a month, Professional at $59.99, Empire at $99.99 and Unicorn at $299.99, with cheaper per-month rates on annual billing and a 7-day free trial. Spocket is our sister company.
Best for: stores where shipping speed matters (fashion, home goods, gifts, anything seasonal). Our Spocket review goes deeper.
4. CJdropshipping
CJdropshipping is a sourcing agent and fulfillment company rather than just an import app. You can import from its catalog, ask it to source a specific product, and use its warehouses in China, the US and other countries. It also offers custom packaging and product photography.
The app is free to use. You pay for products and shipping on each order. The catch is that prices and shipping options vary a lot by product and warehouse, so you need to compare carefully before listing.
Best for: sellers who want an agent to source and consolidate orders, and stores planning to move into branded packaging. We compare it head-to-head in AliExpress vs CJdropshipping vs Spocket and in our CJdropshipping review.
5. Zendrop
Zendrop combines a product catalog (over a million products), automated fulfillment, US products, and private-label and branding options. Zendrop's pricing page shows a free plan with limited access, Pro at $49 a month and Plus at $79 a month. Automated fulfillment and custom branding sit behind the paid plans.
Best for: sellers planning to move from generic products to their own branded packaging without switching apps.
6. AutoDS
AutoDS is an automation-heavy platform that connects to many suppliers (AliExpress, CJ, Amazon, Walmart and others) and many stores, including Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, eBay and Facebook Marketplace. It handles imports, price and stock monitoring, automatic ordering and tracking updates.
Its pricing page currently advertises a trial for about $1, with monthly plans priced by how many products you import and add-ons such as auto-ordering ($9.90 a month) and a product finding hub ($14.97 a month). Total cost climbs once you add the extras, so price out the full stack you'd use.
One caution: AutoDS supports sources like Amazon and Walmart, but eBay and Amazon both prohibit buying from another retailer and having it shipped to your customer. Just because a tool connects to a source doesn't mean the marketplace allows it.
Best for: multi-channel sellers who want everything automated and are happy to pay for it. See our Spocket vs AutoDS comparison.
7. Syncee
Syncee is a B2B marketplace connecting retailers with suppliers worldwide, with a strong selection of US, EU, Australian and Canadian suppliers. It works with Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, BigCommerce, Squarespace and others.
On Syncee's pricing page, retailers get a free plan to browse products and see wholesale prices, then Basic at $39.99, Pro at $59.99 and Business at $99.99 a month.
Best for: sellers who want local suppliers in specific regions, or who sell on platforms other than Shopify.
8. Modalyst
Modalyst offers dropship products from independent and name brands as well as AliExpress items, with automated order processing. It has joined Wix.com, which explains its strong Wix integration, though it still works with Shopify.

Plans are Hobby at $0 (25 products), Start Up at $35 a month (250 products) and Pro at $90 a month (unlimited products and access to better-known brands with shorter shipping times).
Best for: Wix stores and fashion-focused shops that want brand-name inventory.
9. Printful (if you want print on demand instead)
Some former Oberlo stores switched models entirely. Printful prints your designs on demand (apparel, mugs, posters, bags) and ships under your brand. There's no monthly fee for the core service. You pay per product when an order comes in. Margins are thinner than AliExpress products, but you own the design and nobody can undercut you on an identical item. Our guide to print-on-demand suppliers compares Printful with the others.

Which Oberlo alternative should you pick?
Short version, based on what you're doing:
- You ran Oberlo and want the same thing: DSers. Free to start, same AliExpress logic.
- You sell in the US or EU and refunds are eating your margin: Spocket or Syncee for local suppliers.
- You want AliExpress plus help finding products: AliDrop.
- You want someone to source and pack for you: CJdropshipping.
- You run several stores and channels: AutoDS.
- You're on Wix: Modalyst.
Many sellers combine two: AliExpress through DSers or AliDrop for testing, then move winners to a US supplier through Spocket once they're proven. Our list of Shopify dropshipping apps covers the tools around these, and the sprint guide to AliExpress alternatives helps if you want to leave AliExpress altogether.
How to migrate from an old Oberlo store
If you still have a Shopify store built on Oberlo, products are probably still live but disconnected from any supplier. Here's how to fix that without losing your SEO or reviews:
- Export your product list. In Shopify admin, export all products as CSV. Keep it as a backup and a checklist.
- Install your new app first, then map products. Most apps (DSers, AliDrop, AutoDS) let you link existing Shopify products to a supplier listing instead of re-importing. Linking keeps your URLs, reviews and sales history.
- Check every variant mapping. Color and size variants are where mistakes happen. A wrong variant link means customers get the wrong item.
- Re-check supplier prices and shipping. Supplier prices in an old store may be years out of date. Recalculate margins with real shipping costs.
- Remove dead products. If the original supplier is gone and you can't find an equivalent, unpublish the product rather than leaving it live.
- Place a test order. Order one product to your own address and confirm the order flows, tracking syncs, and packaging doesn't carry supplier branding.
- Update shipping times on your store. If you moved to US suppliers, advertise the faster delivery. It's a real conversion lever.
Find products worth importing
Switching apps fixes fulfillment. It doesn't tell you what to sell. That's where Dropshiptool comes in: the Sales Tracker shows real sales on Shopify stores, the Ad Spy shows which products are getting Facebook and TikTok ad spend, and the weekly Product Portfolio flags products gaining momentum.
A good routine is to shortlist products in Dropshiptool, check that a supplier on your chosen app (DSers, AliDrop, Spocket or CJ) carries them at a workable price, then import. You can try Dropshiptool here and run that check on your current product list. See how the Sales Tracker works if you want the detail first.
Moving on from Oberlo
Oberlo had a good run, but it closed in 2022 and nothing is coming back. DSers is the direct replacement and costs nothing to start. If you want faster shipping, Spocket and Syncee give you local suppliers. AliDrop adds product research to AliExpress sourcing, and CJdropshipping, Zendrop, AutoDS, Modalyst and Printful each fit a specific model. Pick the one that matches your supplier strategy, migrate carefully, and spend your energy on product selection instead.
